Sports photographer and journalist

In the period from 2009 to 2016 I had my own photo agency with up to 10 free photographers in some cases, mainly to market photos from running & triathlon events worldwide. I was active as a sports photographer myself and provided photos of events around the world. The delivery of image material was for agencies such as DPA, DAPD, Action Press, as well as running & triathlon magazines and organizers worldwide. In addition to the main area of running and triathlon sports, I have photographed many other sports, music events and yellow press events. Whether in the Tour de France, the Bundesliga, handball or golf, my aim was always to deliver extraordinary pictures, which I succeeded in doing.

In addition, I also provided text content for running magazines and websites for the individual events. In addition to many great stories and stories from major marathons, Ironman events and the world record runners in Ethiopia, there were also dicey situations, e.g. during the bomb attack at the Boston Marathon, where I was on site with the camera.
